At this point, the tour takes a whimsical turn as you switch to a 4x4 truck that carries you up to Hobbitenango—an enchanting eco-park inspired by The Lord of the Rings. After soaking in the magic of Hobbitenango, you’ll return to El Hato via the 4x4 and hop back onto your ATV to continue your ride through the countryside. 10/10 Estuardo and Fabriso were fantastic on taking us to pacaya, they communicated very well in English and Spanish and were very cautious and would stop and explain how to ride the Atvs during the Rocky Roads or steep areas, made sure we all stayed in a group and if we did happen to split up they would be very aware since one rides in front and one rides at the back, they were great with pictures and making sure we all had a safe and fun experience, Valen mil gracias por esta experiencia con ustedes❤️
The Antigua ATV Mountain Tour was absolutely incredible! Every checkpoint along the way was fun, engaging, and full of interesting local insights, a perfect mix of adventure and culture. Leo was a brilliant host, super friendly, inclusive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident, no matter their experience level. His instructions were clear, his energy was great, and he brought our global group together effortlessly. The views were stunning, the ride itself was a blast, and the whole experience was so well organized from start to finish. And of course, Mad Dog Maddy, the tour’s adorable mascot, gave the day an extra dose of charm, and a little “bite” of something special! I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua, it’s an unforgettable way to explore the mountains and see the area from a whole new perspective!
We took the sunset tour in Antigua and absolutely loved it! Our guide, Leo, was incredible friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy. Partway through, it started raining, but Leo didn’t let that dampen the fun. He handed us ponchos and turned it into an adventure, letting us ride through the rain while exploring the beauty of Antigua. Along the way, Leo answered all our questions and shared fascinating insights about the area. We also made a stop to enjoy some authentic Guatemalan food, which was absolutely delicious. It happened to be my wife’s birthday, and Leo went above and beyond to make it special. He arranged for the restaurant to surprise her with a birthday cheesecake and a warm celebration. I can’t recommend Simoon Tours enough for an unforgettable experience. Thank you again, Leo we had an amazing time!
Loved the sunset ATV tour I did a few days ago with Simoon! Our tour guide Edgar was really awesome (knowledgeable about the ATVs, committed to everyone's safety while riding through town and coming down the mountain, and genuinely warm), plus he let me practice my Spanish with him! Hobbitenango is great to visit so I'm glad it was included in the experience.
My mother and I booked the 8:45 PM tour, and it was such a beautiful experience! We stopped at a chocolate factory and a wine factory, where we got to taste some delicious wines and had time to shop. We also drove up the mountain to take in the stunning views. Our tour guide was friendly and informative, although he did take a few shots at one of the stops, which delayed our lunch until around 4:30 PM. He was very apologetic, but it did push back the timing for our next activity. Overall, despite the delay, the experience was truly memorable, and I would absolutely do it again!
